USP Class VI Adhesives
USP Class VI Approved Adhesives for Medical Device Applications
Master Bond’s biocompatible adhesives are designed to meet the needs of medical device manufacturers. Compounds withstand various types of sterilization methods.

Dicronite® Tungsten Disulfide Dry Lubricant
Categories: Ceramic; Sulfide/Chalcogenide; Other Engineering Material; Ceramic/Metallic Coating

Material Notes: Dicronite® is an extensively modified lamellar composition of Tungsten Disulfide. It molecularly bonds to most materials and platings. Dicronite® transmigrates into the molecular structure of the substrate and can only be eliminated by removing the bonded substrate.

Industrial applications: Mold operation, mold release, lubricity (can be applied to similar or non-similar substrates to prevent wear, galling and seizing. Applied at ambient temperature and with twice the lubricity of graphite), medical, ball and roller bearings, linear bearings, ball screws, pumps, compressors, and blowers.

Dry air carrier; no binders or adhesives. No cure time required, applied at ambient temperature. Inert, non-toxic, corrosion resistant. Accepts most paints and is compatible with most solvents, fuels and oils. Insensitive to detonation by or in the presence of oxygen. Will not cause distortive stress relief, additional stresses or degradation to any surface. Approvals - NAMSA class 6 (medical) and USDA; ISO-10993 medically approved.
