| Description: NECOWEL FLE 55N is a zero VOC emulsified alkyd copolymer based on linseed/marine oils. Applications: Wood Impregnation; Wood Finish. Due to excellent wetting properties and penetration properties, NECOWEL FLE 55N is an excellent binder for water based wood preservatives, sealers and wood stains. According to the type of application, NECOWEL FLE 55N can be diluted with water to a solids content of 10 – 35%. There is no need for the addition of driers, as the product already has the appropriate driers incorporated. The incorporation of a biocide is recommended for the final formula. Wood preservatives, sealers and wood stains based on NECOWEL FLE 55N exhibit adhesion and penetration properties and outstanding weather resistance, which are comparable or better than those of solvent based systems.
