Material Notes: Finished parts and basic shapes made from unfilled polyimide material for structural applications requiring requiring high electrical insulative properties, high purity and low outgassing, and high temperature resistance. Applications include: plasma cutting torch components, plasma etch equipment clamp rings, aerospace components, semiconductor equipment components.

Specification Qualifications: ASTM D 6456-99 Standard Specification for Finished Parts Made from Polyimide Resin (Type I D). SAE AMS 3644G Polyimide, Molded Rod, Bar and Tube, Plaque, and Formed Parts (Class 1 Form D). MIL-R-46198 Resin, Polyimide, Hot Pressed or Pressed and Sintered (Type I D).
