Material Notes: EUROPLEX® EC is an impact-modified, transparent plastic with an electroconductive surface. This product is used wherever operational and workplace safety calls for glazing products that have to meet the following requirements:
  • antistatic or electroconductive surfaces (< 10E+6 ohm)
  • good transparency and light transmission
  • good impact resistance and dielectric strength
  • good abrasion resistance

EUROPLEX® EC is supplied in sheets of 1.0 to 8.0 mm thickness. In addition to clear sheets, a variety of application-specific colors are also available. The main fields of application are clean-room glazing, explosion-proofing and machine guards.
