Master Bond adhesives

Abatron AboCast 7802-1/AboCure 50-3 (80 pbw) Epoxy
Categories: Polymer; Adhesive; Thermoset; Epoxy; Epoxy, Cast, Unreinforced

Material Notes: AboCast 7802-1 is a clear resin with low viscosity (600-800 cps.) and a weight of 9.1 lbs/gallon. AboCure 50-3 is a clear, slow converter for lower rigidity. It has an HDT of 60°C, variable ratio, a viscosity of 300 cps., and a weight of 7.8 lbs/gallon. AboCast 7802-1/AboCure 50-3 has versatility, many variable-ratio possibilities, and a tenacious adhesion to metals, ceramics, glass, wood, and most rigid materials which permits permanent structural and dielectric bonds. Absence of volatiles and minimum shrinkage, typical of solventless epoxy systems, allow castings and masses of virtually any desired thickness. Suggested Uses: Multi-purpose casting, coating, and bonding for applications requiring high dielectric resistance, structural strength, and radiation resistance as well as resistance to weather, water, alkalis, diluted acids, fuels, and most common solvents; it was originally developed for FERMILAB.
