Material Notes:	Sandvik 6C27 is a martensitic stainless chromium steel with a low carbon content. The grade is characterized by: Soft delivery conditions Excellent formability After heat treatment the grade has: Good corrosion resistance High toughness Typical applications are different types of kitchen tools without edges such as butter knives and slicers. Potato peelers and shaving heads (in electric shavers) are examples of products with complicated forming. Information provided by Sandvik ASTM 420; EN 1.4007
