Lehvoss LUVOCOM® 16-8960/ES Polyarylamide with carbon fiber and steel fiber  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyarylamide (PAA)

Material Notes: Properties/attributes include: Electrically conductive, suitable for continuous discharging of statically-generated electricity (EMI-shielding). Strong, stiff parts. Low water absorption. Low influence from moisture and temperature to measures and electrical properties

Automotive industry, textile- and office machinery, apparatus- and precision engineering. Typical uses include: Handles, levers, rollers, body parts.

Processing: During processing the moisture level should not exceed 0.1%, otherwise molecular degradation and surface defects (e.g. smearing) may occur. Excessively high predrying temperatures may cause discoloration. The processing notes provided merely represent a recommendation for general use. Due to the large variety of machines, geometries and volumes of parts, etc., it may be necessary to employ different settings according to the specific application.
