Categories: Metal; Nonferrous Metal; Titanium Alloy; Alpha/Beta Titanium Alloy

Material Notes: High strength, deep hardenable forging near-beta alloy primarily for jet engines. Allows heat treatment to a variety of strength levels in sections up to 6 inches. Offers good ductility and toughness, as well as good low cycle and high cycle fatigue properties.

Typical heat treatment: Solution treat 1475°F for 4 hr and water quench. Age 1175°F for 8 hr and air cool.
