- EUROPLEX® PPSU shows ggod chemical resistance for an amorphous material
- Parts made of EUROPLEX® PPSU can be sterilized by all conventional methods, particularly by superheated steam at 2,000 cycles or more, also in combination with morpholine
- EUROPLEX® PPSU therefore shows very particularly good resistance to hydrolysis
- EUROPLEX® PPSU is inherently flame-retarded. Its rating to UL94:VO at 1.6 mm thickness stands for very good fire behavior
- EUROPLEX® PPSU is physiologically unobjectionable and easily meets FDA and USP requirements for food contact and medical applications
- Available in the form of transparent or opaque sheets in thicknesses of 0.8 to 6.0 mm
- Sheets made from this material are mainly processed into medical containers for use in hospitals. Beside this EUROPLEX® PPSU sheets are more and more used in industrial plants and machines
