| AboCast 10-5 is a filled, high-viscosity epoxy resin. It is blended with AboCure 50-3 to make a structural adhesive and casting compound for the optic and electric industry. AboCure 50-3 is a clear room-temperature-cure, low-viscosity converter. AboCast 10-5/AboCure 50-3 has good adhesive, chemical, and physical properties. It is slow and easily pourable for casting. It is excellent for potting and encapsulation of delicate electronic components and general casting of small and large objects. It has versatile variable-ratio possibilities. This blend's main advantages are: it has low-viscosity and is room-temperature-cure, low exotherm, and thermocycling. It also is dielectric and offers good adhesion, virtually no shrinkage, and high resistance to alkalis, diluted acids, water, many solvents, and outdoors. |
