Evonik ROHACELL® 100 WIND-F Polymethacrylimide Foam
Categories: Other Engineering Material; Composite Core Material; Polymer; Thermoset; Polymethacrylimide

Material Notes: ROHACELL® polymethacrylimide (PMI) closed cell foam cores provide all the stiffness, robustness and durability required in composite structures at a fraction of the weight of other core products. Specifically designed to meet the demands of the wind energy industry, ROHACELL® WIND-F is compatible with all common epoxy and polyester resin systems and delivers excellent mechanical properties at low foam densities while sustaining continuous process temperatures up to 150 °C. Lightweight ROHACELL® WIND-F is available in nominal densities as low as 50 kg/m³. Even at these low densities, the GL requirements for core materials can be met.
