Material Notes: PE-UHMW ED FDA is a modified, anti-static material that is suitable for use in the foodstuff and pharmaceutical industries. It meets the requirements of European Commission Foodstuffs Directive 1935/2004 and FDA Directives 21 CFR 177.1520 and 21 CFR 178.3297 on plastics for contact with foodstuffs. PE-UHMW ED FDA is also approved as per the US 3-A Dairy Sanitary Standards.
