Desktop Metal 316L Shop System™ 3D Printed Stainless Steel; 3D Printed, As-Sintered
Categories: Metal; 3D Printing/Additive Manufacturing Metal; Ferrous Metal; Stainless Steel; T 300 Series Stainless Steel

Material Notes: 316L 3D Printed Stainless steel is a fully austenitic, non-magnetic steel. The austenitic alloy contains a high percentage of nickel and chromium, thus making this steel resistant to corrosion. It is ideal for harsh environments and is characterized by its performance at both high and low temperatures and high ductility.

Applications: 316L is a common material used in a wide variety of applications, such as chemical and petrochemical processing, food processing, laboratory equipment, medical devices (endoscopy and orthopedics), marine, jewelry, power generation, petroleum refining, water treatment, pulp and paper manufacturing.
