Harris Acoustic Sensors EC-97 Lead Titanate Piezoelectric
Categories: Ceramic; Oxide; Titanium Oxide; Piezoelectric

Material Notes: Lead titanate niobate features the highest mode cancellation (reduced side load sensitivity) of all the solid solution piezoelectric materials - many times higher than lead zirconate titanates. Good "g" and excellent mode cancellation provide a valuable material for non-destructive testing, accelerometers, and hydrophones.

Data provided by Harris Acoustic Sensors. Harris Acoustic Sensors has acquired EDO Ceramics. This grade is available from Harris.

Key Words: PbTiO3
