Material Notes: CERMEX® MT1200 is a non-woven insulation mat for use in high temperature applications up to 1600°F (871°C). The fibers are mechanically bonded and contain no additional resins or adhesives. The structure of the material allows for conformability to irregular surfaces and is easily cut and fabricated to intricate configurations. Typical applications include thermal insulations, engine exhaust systems, engine heat component heat shields, industrials furnaces, and turbine insulation.
