Material Notes: HDI2061 is a High Density Polyethylene for Injection Molding Segment. By having good fluidity provides excellent processability, which promotes high productivity combined with good stiffness and hardness. The narrow molecular weight distribution gives low tendency to deformation. This resin complies with ANSI/NSF Standard 61 and ANSI/NSF Standard 51. The benefit of having both certifications makes this resin ideal for fittings that require direct contact with food and/or potable water.
Applications: Medium to thin wall items, toys, large caps, household containers, caps.
Processes: Injection molding.

Test specimens from compression molded plaque according to ASTM D4703.
