LATI Latene® HD 2 G/40 40% Glass Fiber Reinforced High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyethylene (PE); High Density (HDPE); High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), Glass fiber Filled

Material Notes: Description: Latene HD thermoplastics are high density polyethylene (HDPE) products. The most important properties of Latene HD are its high chemical inertness and good weathering resistance. Reinforced HD Latene products offer good rigidity and low mold shrinkage. The presence of glass fiber requires careful design to reduce differential shrinkage and limit the deformation of the parts.

Specific Notes for this Material: 40% glass fiber; very good mechanical resistance; greater rigidity; good ageing; also suitable for extrusion.

Disclaimer from LATI: This document contains information based on average values as obtained from the results of laboratory tests and observations made on LATI materials.
