Lubrizol Advanced Materials Stat-Rite® S-506 High Impact Polystyrene
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polystyrene (PS); Polystyrene, Impact Modified

Material Notes: Product Description: S-506 is a static dissipative High-Impact Polystyrene alloy. It utilizes the patented Stat-Rite® inherently dissipative polymer (IDP) alloy system to enhance standard HIPS packaging sheet with a layer of clean, permanent ESD protection. Used as a skin layer, Stat-Rite® S-506 provides more consistent ESD protection than coatings and anti-stat. The Stat-Rite® skin will NOT wash off or deteriorate over time, providing reliable ESD protection for many years. Features: More permanent than anti-stat; Provides protection for many years; Cleaner than anti-stat, coatings or carbon-filled sheet; More consistent than anti-stat or coatings. Applications: Static dissipative layer on HIPS electronics packaging.
Availability: Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America, North America
Features: Antistatic; Clean/High Purity; Durable; ESD Protection; Rapid Static Decay; Wear Resistant
Uses: Electrical/Electronic Applications; Packaging
