Specialty Compounds RTP Company
Danquinsa DANADD® LFC Additive
Categories: Other Engineering Material; Additive/Filler for Polymer

Material Notes: DANADD® LFC is a very high quality and very effective additive compound which is added to the thermoplastic polyurethane granules (TPU’s) out of the PEARLTHANE® – range to adjust the electrical conductibility. This thermoplastic additive compound is available in form of granules and will be added with the help of an masterbatch metering unit or by addition into the TPU granules by the use of a tumble mixer. Because of the heat conduction is this special compound is supporting the melt homogenization and the distribution of heat in the extruder.

Application: DANADD® LFC is added to the TPU’s which will be processed by injection moulding to produce conductive wheels and castors, sealants and many various technical parts. This special additive is added directly by the extrusion of TPU foils to give them a conductive equipment. The addition to the TPU is depending on the electrical conductive requirements. Normally 5 to 30% will be added from this special additive batch to the divers TPU’s of the PERALTHANE® - range.
