ChenGuang Hexafluoropropylene (HFP)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Fluoropolymer

Material Notes: Chemical formula: CF2=CF-CF3

CAS No.: 116-15-4

Description: HFP is one of the important monomers of fluoropolymers. It could react with VdF to make fluoroelastomer copolymer, with TFE and VdF to make fluoroelastomer terpolymer, and with TFE to make FEP. All these fluorinated polymers are special chemicals necessary for modern industries. HFP is the essential raw material of the new and pollutionless extinguishing agent F227.
