Material Notes: Characterization: Desmophen NH XP 2701 resin is a solvent-free, amine functional reactive partner for polyisocyanates.

Properties / Applications: Desmophen NH XP 2701 resin is a low viscosity amine functional resin developed for use in the formulation of high solids two-component polyurethane/urea coatings. This resin provides faster final cure properties as well as higher coating hardness when compared to other Desmophen NH types. Desmophen NH XP 2701 resin may be used by itself or as a blend with hydroxy-functional acrylic resins and crosslinked with an aliphatic polyisocyanate to yield high solids polyurethane/urea coatings. Desmophen NH XP 2701 resin may also be blended with other amine functional resins, e.g. Desmophen NH 1520, Desmophen NH 1220 in order to obtain customized potlife/dry time characteristics. As with any product, use of Desmophen NH XP 2701 resin in a given application must be tested (including but not limited to field testing) in advance by the user to determine suitability.
