Material Notes: Glastherm® HT 500 has an extremely high level of heat resistance, making it suitable for processes with a continuous working temperature of up to 500°C (932°F). The material also has an excellent load capacity in high temperature and a very good level of resistance to thermal shock. Glastherm® HT 500 is incombustible, free of asbestos and can be easily cut and adapted with standard metal tools.
  • Maximum continuous operation temperature: 500°C (932°F)
  • High compressive strength: 300 MPa (at 200°C)
  • Good thermal insulation
