Material Notes:	Fields of application: Highly concentrated desiccant masterbatch for LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, PP, EVA and other ethylene copolymers. Examples: Elimination of moisture from (recycle) polymers in moisture sensitive applications. Mode of action and advantages: ADD-VANCE® DS 485 is a ready-for-use highly concentrated desiccant masterbatch. It contains additives that chemically bond moisture. ADD-VANCE® DS 485 has been designed for use with recycling materials as well as for applications sensitive to the effects of moisture. Advantages: Reduction or elimination of moisture in recycled polymers, thus allowing increased addition levels of recycle polymers; Reduction or prevention of lacing and windows/lenses in films, surface defects in molding, porosity and die build-up; Non-sticking pellets, dust free dosing; and Safe and easy handling. Former ADDCOMP product line, acquired by BYK.
