Material Notes:	ECP 245 is a colorable magnetic compound based on special blends of magnetic additive compounded into Nylon 6 in such a way as to optimize physical and magnetic properties during processing. Used in the food processing industry where detection of foreign body contamination is to be avoided. Applications: ECP 245 is recommended for use in applications that require the usual advantages normally associated with Nylon 6 where magnetic detection requirements also exist, for example: bearings and machine parts where friction characteristics predominate, such as gear, slide, cams and bearings parts that require good physical properties for example cable ties, brush bristles parts which need to exhibit good chemical resistance allied to magnetic properties Information provided by TBA Protective Solutions
