Material Notes:	Bond type: hydraulic. Chamotte/Perlite. An extremely strong insulating concrete for service up to 1370°C (2500°F), designed for use in areas that require a combination of light weight and high strength. Particularly used in petrochemical stills and as heater lining and furnace doors, covers, kiln car tops, etc. conforms to ASTM Class R. Applications: Backup insulation in two component linings in petrochemical process units Hot face lining in ductwork from waste heat recovery boilers and process units Hydrogen or reducing atmosphere linings Petrochemical applications, Furnace doors, covers and kiln car tops. Features and Benefits: Light weight and low thermal conductivity reduce both the quantity of heat storage and heat transfer producing significant savings in furnace fuel consumption.
