Trinseo SE PB 3501-Schkopau Low-CIS Butadiene Rubber (BR)

Material Notes: Composition: SE PB 3501-Schkopau is a low-cis butadiene synthetic rubber. It is produced by anionic solution polymerization adjusted for a very high level of branching. SE PB 3501-Schkopau is translucent to white in appearance and contains a non-staining stabilizer which complies with compositional requirements of the food packaging regulations of European countries and the USA (Trinseo may be consulted regarding applicable regulations).

Application: SE PB-3501 is used to manufacture Mass-ABS or transparent/high-gloss High-Impact Polystyrene. The high level of branching in combination with grafting processes supported by reactive vinyl-groups in SE PB 3501–Schkopau enable the very small rubber particle size required by these applications.
