Nouryon Cadox L-30a Methyl ethyl ketone peroxide
Categories: Other Engineering Material

Material Notes: Cadox L-30a is a special purpose catalyst for curing gel coats and promoted unsaturated polyester resins in warmer climates. Low-hydrogen peroxide content reduces gel-coat porosity and provides improved curing of vinylester resins.

CAS number: 1338-23-4

EINECS/ELINCS No.: 215-661-2

Applications: Cadox L-30a is a special purpose catalyst for promoted unsaturated polyester and vinyl esters. It is used in place of Cadox L-50a varieties (Clear, RED and VR) where lower concentrations are needed as seen in warm summer months. Like all L-50a or L-30a varieties, it contains a low hydrogen peroxide content to minimize gassing and a high dimer content to maximize cure of polyester and vinylester resins. Additional end-use information is available in Nouryon’s application brochures.
