Phillips 66 El Mar® LA4 SAE 30  (discontinued **)
Categories: Fluid; Lubricant

Material Notes: Hydroclear EL MAR LA4 low ash natural gas engine oil meets increasing demands for long engine life, smooth efficient operation and toughness. Made with exclusive Hydroclear technology, this gas engine oil is the one that combines the best base stock components and field-proven additives to provide outstanding engine cleanliness, wear and corrosion protection. These are all the things a gas engine needs to give dependable, efficient service with lower maintenance costs for many years. Clean engines last longer between expensive overhauls. Engine deposits that build up with lesser quality oils are abrasive to pistons, rings, valves and liners, causing shortened engine life. Hydroclear EL MAR LA4 stops deposits two ways. First, its base oil component is absent of unstable compounds which break down quickly into carbon deposits. Then, field proven additives suspend particles in the oil before they can form deposits. The result – a cleaner, more reliable and efficient engine. Hydroclear EL MAR LA4 is built to save money! Fuel is the largest operating expense for gas engines, followed by manpower and lubricant. Clean engines are able to perform at peak efficiency by allowing proper airflow and avoiding frictional losses caused by engine deposits, thus increasing fuel efficiency. Hydroclear EL MAR LA4 is recommended for use in nearly all types of turbocharged, lean burn and naturally aspirated natural gas engines requiring low ash lubricants.

Phillips 66 Lubricants was spun-off from ConocoPhillips in 2012. The Hydroclear® trade name is no longer in use but products may be available under different names.
