| Product Description: Akrosperse® and Akroform® ZnO-85/EPR/S or P are polymeric dispersions of zinc oxide in an EP polymer binder. Zinc oxide is an activator for many rubber chemistries. ZnO-85/EPR promotes improved dispersion of zinc oxide in the rubber formulary where the dispersion of zinc oxide powder is not easily achieved. Akrosperse® is a slab while Akroform® is a pellet. Advantages: Polymer bound or encapsulated dispersions are a proven means of upgrading plant safety, efficiency, quality & raw material control. Akrochem polymer bound or encapsulated dispersions eliminate any irritating dust, as well as other potential hazards in handling powders in the plant. This is especially true with MZ since the powder form is hazardous (a poison under DOT regulations) while the dispersion is not. The physical form is easy to handle and weigh accurately.
