Zetpol 2001 is a 40% ACN, highly saturated copolymer of butadiene and acrylonitrile with high tensile strength, excellent heat resistance, good chemical resistance to aggressive fluids, and an excellent balance of properties over a wide variation of temperatures. Zetpol 2001 is supplied as dark amber/black-brown colored bales. Zetpol® hydrogenated nitrile (HNBR) is a tough, durable elastomer. Zetpol resists prolonged exposure to 160°C and provides superior resistance to hot fluids. The toughness of Zetpol makes it the ideal choice for automotive belt, seals, and oil field components. Zetpol is classified as a DH-DK polymer according to SAE J200 / ASTM D200. Information provided by Zeon Chemicals. |
