| Description: Acid-Coat™ is a high performance, chemically resistant coating specifically designed for applications where high concentrations of acids and alkali are present. It provides excellent resistance to nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, sodium hydroxide, sulfuric acid, Clorox and ammonia. When fully cured Acid-Coat provides excellent abrasion, impact and corrosion resistance to metal, wood, fiberglass and masonry surfaces. It offers easy mixing and simple application by brush or paint roller. Acid-Coat can be mixed with sand and or aluminum oxide grit additives to provide an aggressive non-skid surface in both wet and dry environments. The kit is packaged in one gallon containers complete with 1 quart activator and your choice of 17 color options. Acid-Coat provides a tough, high build, protective coating that can be applied in wet film thickness up to 1/8” without sagging, with low VOC’s, good UV and excellent chemical resistance.
