Evonik TEGO® Antifoam PS 10 Emulsion
Categories: Other Engineering Material

Material Notes: Product description: TEGO® Antifoam PS 10 is an emulsion based on modified siloxanes.

Application: TEGO® Antifoam PS 10 is useful as defoamer in various textile applications. It is efficient as antifoam in application where surfactants and various surfactant blends/formulations are used e. g. scouring etc. TEGO® Antifoam PS 10 is also used as antifoam in dyeing processes where high shear rates occur (e. g. jet machines).

Properties / Benefits: The special combination of active ingredients provides TEGO® Antifoam PS 10 with excellent stability in alkaline or electrolyte-rich media, even at high temperatures. With regard to compatibility, dispersability and handling, TEGO® Antifoam PS 10 performs much better then conventional silicone antifoams. Furthermore, the undesirable effects associated with silicone based antifoams (e. g. silicone spotting) are either significantly reduced or totally eliminated.
