Material Notes: Properties: K- B 40 is a Bio ester, is clear liquid with stable properties and very low viscosity. It is slight soluble in water and very soluble in polymers.

Application: K- B 40 can be used to replace DOP and ESBO in PVC production. K- B 40 belongs to Green/ Eco/ Safe Plasticizers segment, though high in potential, it has good plasticity and stability. It will just make the product as soft and stable as required. It can be used in PVC production is the same as the way ESBO is been used. It also has to be blended evenly with DOP. Replacing K- B40 with ESBO, percentage of K-B 40 can be increased and percentage of DOP can be decreased. K-B 40 can partly replace DOP with lower cost and same stability, plasticity, better lubricity and compatibility as compared to ESBO. Example: K- B 40 can replace 20-30% apply in PVC leatheroid, PVC film, sheathing compounds, Shoe compounds, soft toy and pipe. According to softness & hardness of PVC articles.
