Material Notes:	GUARD DOG™ UV9 light stabilizer is a derivative of Benzophenone that has an exceptionally strong and broad-range of UV absorption properties (UV A 315 -400 nm and UV B 290 - 314 nm) throughout the UV spectrum. It is a highly efficient UV absorber and is recommended for thermoset plastics and coatings that function as ultraviolet screens for photosensitive substrates. It is stable to heat and light and does not decompose below 200°C. Applications: Extremely effective in PS, rigid and flexible PVC, Thermoset polyester, PMMA, short, medium and long chain alkyds, phenolic and other solvent based systems. Performance Benefits: Highly effective and efficient UV absorber with minimal color contribution Ideal for use in coatings, PVC and thermoset polyester systems. Excellent compatibility with polymers and other stabilizer chemistries Typical Properties: This product is a pale yellow crystalline powder, freely soluble in most organic solvents and is not soluble in water.
