Material Notes: Antimicrobial Master Batch – Gienall MB is an inorganic based, non-migratory antimicrobial with broad spectrum of inhibition. Gienall has been compounded with state-of-art dispersion technology along with in-situ formation of active Ions. The unique Nano-sized particles offer great advantage over conventional inorganic MB.

Gienall is available as made to order Master batches in a wide variety of carrier resins ranging from Engineering plastics (PC, PET, PBT, Nylon, etc) to Polyolefin resins. Typical applications include medical devices, healthcare, kitchen and bath, appliances etc.

*All properties are measured after 48 hours of conditioning at 23°C and 50% relative humidity. All samples are prepared according to ASTM standards. Variations within normal tolerances are possible for various types of colors and functional properties like UV resistance.
