Wacker Elastosil® R plus 4060/60 Silicone Rubber
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Silicone; Silicone Rubber

Material Notes: ELASTOSIL® R plus 4060/60 is a platinum-catalyzed addition-curing, one-part silicone rubber for manufacturing molded articles. Vulcanizates are characterized by a low compression set.

Application: ELASTOSIL® R plus 4060/60 is a fast-curing grade showing lower compression set, and superior elasticity in comparison with other platinum curing grades (e.g. ELASTOSIL® R plus 4001). Hot air resistance can be improved by adding appropriate heat stabilizers, such as 3% ELASTOSIL® AUX Stabilizer H3.
