Total PSC 1540(AS) Crystal Polystyrene
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polystyrene (PS); Polystyrene, Transparent Grade

Material Notes: 1540 is an easy flowing crystal polystyrene designed for extrusion or injection applications. In extrusion, it improves extruder output and thermoforming cycle times when mixed with a high impact polystyrene. Having high gloss, it is particularly suitable for glossy-layer co-extrusion. In injection molding, 1541 possesses low viscosity at high shear rate. It combines excellent fluidity with a higher softening point. 1540 is not externally lubricated.

Application

Dairy sheet, Cups, Coextrusion crystal. 1541 Extrusion: Boxes, Petri dishes, medical products, Office equipment - e.g. filing trays, Pen bodies and toys, Internal fridge parts.
