Chambroad Petrochemicals HMA-1 Durable High-modulus Asphalt
Categories: Other Engineering Material

Material Notes: Durable High-modulus Asphalt: The durable high-modulus modified asphalt is the product from the secondary deep processing of the hard asphalt produced with high-quality imported crude oil. The product features high stiffness modulus, great fatigue resistance, and excellent performance at lowtemperatures. In combination with the pavement design, it enables the reduction in the composite structure thickness by 39 cm, saving23,000 tons/km of stone. It is expected to increase the life of the pavement structure from 15 years to more than 35 years, and reducecarbon emissions by 50% in the whole life cycle. We cooperate with scientific research institutes and downstream customers to buildthe Zhanlin Expressway Demonstration Road, and promote the demonstration and application of a new generation of the expresswaypavement structure. It helps to reduce costs, improve quality, and increase efficiency for engineering construction, facilitates the rapiddevelopment of industrial chains such as expressway construction, maintenance, and new materials, powers Shandong’s highwayindustry for “Taking the Lead” in China and boosts China's strength in transportation. Appraised by the Shandong Society of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, the technological achievements have reached theinternational advanced level, and won the Second Prize of the Shandong Society of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering for Scientificand Technological Achievements in 2021.
