Material Notes: HIPS with high stiffness, matt surface finish and good heat resistance. Suitable for general extrusion of thick sheets and profiles. Also used for injection moldings.

Designation: Thermoplastics ISO 2897-PS-I,G,093-03-07-18

Applications: To be used in industrial panels for appliances and buildings. Injection molding of shoe heels.

R 540E satisfies UL94 HB at 1.5 mm (internal test).

This grade in natural version complies by composition with the requirements set by the main Regulations for plastic materials intended for food contact (included the EEC Directive 90/128 and following amendments).
