Material Notes:	Characterization: Desmodur XP 2619 is an aromatic isocyanate based on diphenylmethane diisocyanate. Properties / Applications: Desmodur XP 2619 may be used in combination with suitable Desmophen® grades in the formulation of solvent-free, two-pack polyurethane coatings, fillers, sealing compounds and synthetic resin mortars. It is necessary to add water scavengers such as molecular sieve paste 3 Å to the polyol component to prevent the undesired reaction of Desmodur XP 2619 with water. Systems formulated with Desmodur XP 2619 are suitable for coating concrete, asphalt, fibrous cement and plastics. As with any product, use of Desmodur XP 2619 in a given application must be tested (including but not limited to field testing) in advance by the user to determine suitability.
