| EMT 100 offers high wear resistance and is the universal grade for the machining of nonferrous metals, aluminum, copper, porcelain, cast iron, low-hardness steel and fiber-reinforced materials. Extramet EMT 100 is a homogenous mixture of tungsten carbide grains in a tough cobalt binder matrix. The carbide grains are fused into a solid matrix of cobalt metals.
