Wacker Geniosil® XL 70 Silane

Material Notes:	Empirical formula: C9H14O3Si CAS No.: 2996-92-1 GENIOSIL XL 70 is an alkoxyarylsilane. It is a clear, colorless liquid. The silane hydrolyzes in the presence of moisture (methanol is released) to form silanols, which can then react with themselves to produce siloxanes. Application: GENIOSIL XL 70 is used as water scavenger during the production of silane-crosslinking adhesive and sealant formulations. In particular the brand new water scavenger exhibits a high flash point and is virtually odorless. Information provided by Wacker Chemie AG.
