Wacker Elastosil® R plus 4306/60 batch Silicone Rubber
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Silicone; Silicone Rubber

Material Notes: Product description: ELASTOSIL® R plus 4360 series are platinum catalyzed addition-curing, two-part compounds (batch grades) for the manufacture of extruded articles. The vulcanizates show high elasticity (rebound resilience) and a still good tear resistance. Properly postcured vulcanizates of ELASTOSIL® R plus 4360/60 are compliant with BfR and FDA food contact regulations.

ELASTOSIL® R plus 4360 series are fast-curing systems showing improved physical and chemical resistance in comparison with other platinum curing grades (e.g. ELASTOSIL® R plus 4305). Hot air resistance can be improved by adding appropriate stabilizers, such as 1.5% ELASTOSIL® AUX stabilizer H3. ELASTOSIL® R plus 4360/60 grades can be blended in every ratio with themselves or with ELASTOSIL® R plus 4305 to obtain intermediate hardnesses as well as intermediate properties. The catalyst batch PT1 is always added at last.

Application: ELASTOSIL® R plus 4360/60 is intended for the manufacture of tubes, hose, cable and sheet for sealing, fluid transport and various other applications which require good resistance and/or good compression set.
