Michelman® Michem® Emulsion 11226 Cationic polypropylene emulsion  (discontinued **)
Categories: Fluid; Other Engineering Material; Additive/Filler for Polymer; Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polypropylene (PP)

Material Notes: Cationic polypropylene emulsion

Usage: Michem® Emulsion 11226 is useful as an additive in fiberglass sizing formulations which are used to reinforce polypropylene. This emulsion has a very high molecular weight, similar to a polypropylene coupling agent. The molecular weight enhancement should provide additional properties to the fiberglass, not achieved with standard low molecular weight polypropylenes. Being cationic in nature Michem® Emulsion 11226 should provide better adhesion to the glass fibers when processing and forming.

We serve many markets through Michem® Emulsion, including: paint & coatings; fiberglass; inks and overprint varnishes; floor care; wood finishes; automotive care products; building products; carpets; die lubricants; fruit and vegetable coatings; textiles and urethane foam
