Material Notes: ELASTOSIL® R plus 4370/40 is a self-adhesive addition-curing compound for manufacturing of extruded, coated and molded articles. It adheres to steel, aluminum, thermoplastics (e.g. BT) with good heat deflection temperature and synthetic fibers (such as Polyester), as well as to other silicones without any primering or special surface treatments.

Application: ELASTOSIL® R plus 4370/40 is intended for the manufacture of 2-composite combinations via pressure free extrusion or co-extrusion. They can generally be used for technical applications without post-curing.
