Gougeon Brothers PRO-SET® XR28A~M2046 Fire Retardant Infusion Epoxy

Material Notes: Very low viscosity for rapid saturation of fiberglass, Kevlar® and carbon fiber laminate with resin infusion and VARTM processes.
Fire retardant system (listed as XR02-099- 28A) is accepted for compliance with Lloyd’s Register Rules and Regulations and with the International Convention for Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), 1974, as amended, for use on ships and offshore installations classed with Lloyd’s Register, and for use on ships and offshore installations when authorized by contracting governments to issue the relevant certificates, licenses, permits, etc.
This combination is formulated specifically for resin infusion and VARTM processes. Do not use in open mold applications.
Elevated temperature cure is required; thermal and mechanical properties suitable for composite components and high temperature tooling and molds.
Tg as high as 149°F (65°C) with proper post cure providing excellent temperature stability and great part cosmetics.
Cost effective, high performance epoxy formulation for synthetic composite manufacturing.
