Master Bond adhesives

Wacker Powersil® 464 A/B Silicone Rubber
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Silicone; Silicone Rubber; Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR)

Material Notes: POWERSIL® 464 A/B is an electrically conductive liquid silicone rubber with medium conductivity, good electrical and mechanical properties.

Special features:

  • ready-to-use, two-component system
  • good bonding features onto RTV-2 rubber
  • stable electrical properties
  • good mechanical properties
Application: POWERSIL® 464 A/B is suitable for production of electrically conductive injection molded articles, especially cable accessories in the medium and high voltage range. Due to a special formulation good bonding of RTV-2 / LSR rubber onto non-post-cured premolded parts of POWERSIL® 464 A/B can be achieved. The higher possible the cure temperature of RTV-2 / LSR rubber the better will be the bonding. Post curing of the whole part additionally improves adhesion.
