Phillips 66 Tacna® 2000 NLGI No. 1
Categories: Fluid; Lubricant; Lithium Gellant; Organic Soap Gellant

Material Notes: Description: Conoco Tacna 2000 is available in two NLGI grades: No. 1 and No. 2. The No. 2 grade is ideal for use in heavily loaded sleeve-type bushings and bearings subjected to shock loading and operated at medium to high ambient temperatures. It is also ideal for use as a fifth wheel grease commonly found on tractor/trailers. The No. 1 grade provides better fluidity and is recommended for lower ambient temperatures. Tacna 2000 is manufactured from high-viscosity index paraffinic base oils and lithium 12-hydroxy stearate soap stock. It is fortified with an adhesive polymer, rust and corrosion inhibitors, and an effective extreme-pressure additive, which results in an exceptionally stable grease that resists separation under heavy loads. It is also extremely resistant to water washing, as evidenced by its excellent water-washout and spray-off characteristics. Tacna 2000 contains an effective polymer which prevents oil bleeding while providing an exceptional level of protection under shock loading conditions.
