This premium H13 grade is an electroslag (ESR) steel, giving it excellent toughness making it suitable for demanding hot-work applications.

A premium grade H13 hot work tool steel featuring:

  • Very good toughness properties meeting the requirements of NADCA 207-97
  • Very good heat checking resistance
  • Good temper resistance and high temperature strength
  • Excellent polishability and texturability
