general property-based searches (Not restricted to films).
This page was created to facilitate specialized searches for film grade polymer resins.
The properties in the drop down boxes are vital for the specification of film resins, but are often unimportant for the bulk of the engineering materials that MatWeb tracks.
Data sheets for over 2000 film grade resin grades are available from this page - polyethylene (HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE), polypropylene, ionomer, EVA, nylon, polyester, and more.
These film resins can be processed by blown film, extrusion, casting, or other processes and are used for many purposes including packaging and laminations.
